About   /   Our Founder

The name this Foundation carries.

Clement Adesina Soje gave the way he lived: quietly, in person, and to whoever was in front of him. The Foundation continues that work with greater structure and greater reach.

Leadership

Clement Adesina Soje

He was known in Magongo long before there was a Foundation. People came to the house, a mother with a fees notice, a young man with an admission letter he could not take up, a family with a diagnosis and no money for the journey, and they did not leave empty-handed.
His conviction was simple and he repeated it often: whatever a family has, some of it belongs to the neighbour who has less. He believed education was the shortest road out of poverty, and that a community which educates its children and cares for its widows has already decided what kind of place it will be.
We believe that true leadership is not only measured by success, but by what that success makes possible for others.
